2. In the Sample Pump dialog box, do one of the following:
If only one sample inlet valve is present, select S1 Port 8 as the port to
purge.
If two sample inlet valves are present, click Valve 2 and select S2 Port 8 as
the port to purge.
3. Set Flow Rate to 10 ml/min.
4. Click Change Position to set the sample inject valve to Sample Pump Waste
and close the dialog box.
5. (Optional) When an air sensor is present, in the Sample Pump dialog box, select
Enable Air Sensor to use end-of-sample detection to stop the pump.
6. Click Start.
7. Monitor the pump pressure and outlet flow to ensure that no air is in the lines
and that the fluid is flowing properly.
